Triangle Tricksters

Page history last edited by Katie 12 years, 3 months ago

One triangle all alone

makes an empty ice cream cone.

(put one brown triangle on flannel board)

Two triangles joined together

make a kite for windy weather

(add red triangle to form kite shape)

Three triangles stacked up high

make a tree up to the sky.

(Stack three green triangles like a Christmas tree - add a brown rectangle stump)

Four triangles pointing in

are like a pinwheel you can spin.

(Place four blue triangles on the board in a pinwheel formation)

Five triangles joined just right

make a star to light the night.

(Add five yellow triangles around a hexagon)

Count triangles of each color as they are removed from the board.
